Maintenance and Hygienist

Prevention is better than cure.

We encourage regular dental reviews. This allows us to keep and eye on your general dental health and enables us to advise you on maintaining good oral health.

Our hygienists are an important factor in maintaining a healthy mouth. Seeing the hygienist regularly helps you to maintain your gums and teeth so that you can avoid problems associated with gum disease and dental decay.

During your visit our hygienist will spend 30mins with you cleaning your teeth professionally to remove tartar and plaque and give advice on oral hygiene specifically for each individual. This will help them look and feel fresh and clean and also help you to maintain the general health of your mouth.

We stock several dental products and will advise you on the different products to help you maintain your oral health.

The dental health of our younger patients is very important to us and we recommend regular dental visits. We can offer preventive treatments such as fissure sealants (click here to view a video) and give diet and oral hygiene advice. We can also monitor your child’s development and refer to an orthodontist when necessary.
